If it tastes like strawberry jam, then why not? This super simple recipe will awaken your inner vampire just in time for Halloween!
I don't even think you could call this a recipe because it is so simple - just two ingredients, and chances are that you have both items right in your pantry.
INGREDIENTS:
Strawberry Jam
Red Food Coloring
You might want to write that down. Ha!

Super easy and delightfully delicious! I like this recipe because I usually always have strawberry jam in my refrigerator and it is an item I can trust. Not that I will be feeding my family handfuls of fake blood, but it is nice to know exactly what is in it. It is also perfect for cakes and other treats! So, whip this up in a snap and cover anything in blood your heart desires! | Directions: 1. Spoon the Jam into a microwave safe dish 2. Add red food coloring (I used AmeriColor Super Red Gel) 3. Heat for 30 seconds (Microwaves vary - use your judgement to melt the jam) 4. Viola! You have delicious strawberry blood! This WILL stain! Keep that in mind before you start flinging it around everywhere .. don't follow in my footsteps :) It will also set into a jelly like consistency when it comes back to room temperature. |
