From the time I was a little girl, I have absolutely adored The Little Mermaid. When I got the opportunity to put together this Little Mermaid themed party I was over-the-moon to go under-the-sea!
| The party food was a big hit and it was so fun to be creative with the names. The food tents were downloaded from Etsy Shop Very Creative Parties and I added little sticker rhinestones for extra sparkle. Shells N' Cheese - Macaroni and Cheese Chicken of the Sea - Chicken Nuggets Octopus Dip - Ranch Dip Fish N' Chips - Goldfish and Potato Chips Oyster Pearls - Grapes and Blueberries Not Pictured: Ocean Water - Blue Punch Seaweed Pizza - Spinach Pizza And of course we ate with... | | Now for what I do best - the treats! This treat table featured a sparkling sequin backdrop, custom banner from Etsy Shop Karla's Party Creations and sheer fabric. There were cake pops, sugar cookies, sixlets (Chocolate Pearls!), gummy worms (Sea Worms!), Jello cups (Blue Lagoons!) and dipped rice krispy treats. The birthday girl loves mini pretzels so those were incorporated as "Sandy Toes". Everything sat on luxurious purple satin fabric topped with sea-worthy netting. My favorite part was the goldfish. They added such a fun element and they doubled as a party favor for a lucky game winner. |
The cake was simple yet stunning. The birthday girl loved it! The topper was also a fun toy for her to keep.
The favors were a big hit and served a dual purpose to hold treats from the pinata. Each child also made a "hand crab" which they couldn't wait to take home and show their parents!
